MINI-RIDES

For your holiday you will be staying at the home of Gentiane, the "Domaine de Marsan" which has been a family home for many generations. Marsan is a "Maison de Maitre" dating from the time of Louis XIV when it was built as the house of a rich landowner.

The earliest known date, of 1671, is on an ancient oak beam on one of the many old fireplaces in the house; should you wish to know more have a look at Gentianes website.

After you have arrived you will go to Evelien’s stables to choose your horse and to look at the possible routes for riding.

Your holiday is totally flexible and it is you who decides how little or how much you ride.

When you ride you will be accompanied by Evelien.

Should you decide to ride all day you will be provided with a picnic. However if you want to do a spot of shopping at one of the local markets in the morning or laze by the pool in the afternoon then your mid day meal will be served at Gentiane’s.

The price includes breakfast, lunch or picnic, refreshment after your rides, aperitif and dinner and of course the horse!
